Positive Physiotherapy was founded by Shena Lee-Anthony, a Chartered Rehabilitation Physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Shena holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Brunel University and has over 16 years of experience working in NHS and private practice settings. Positive Physiotherapy provides specialist home visit physiotherapy services across Windsor, Maidenhead and the wider Thames Valley and Berkshire region. The service was founded on the belief that everyone deserves expert physiotherapy care in the comfort of their own home. The patient's well-being is supreme.
Shena Lee-Anthony
During her time working in an NHS rehabilitation ward, Shena developed a reputation for something that cannot be taught in a textbook: the ability to make patients feel genuinely cared for, motivated, and hopeful.
One day, a Care Home Manager visiting the ward witnessed Shena working with a patient. Struck by her warmth, professionalism, and the visible difference she was making, the manager invited Shena to continue supporting that patient, and others, at her care home. That single moment of recognition became the foundation of everything Positive Physiotherapy stands for today.
Why supporting older people has become my life's work
For Shena, physiotherapy has never been simply about treating a condition. It is about restoring what matters most to a person: the ability to move freely, to live independently, and to feel confident in their own home.
Older adults and those recovering from illness or surgery often face a system that is stretched, impersonal, and difficult to navigate. Shena built Positive Physiotherapy to be the opposite: unhurried, personal, and entirely focused on the individual in front of her.
Every client is someone's parent, grandparent, or beloved family member. That responsibility is never taken lightly.
The values that guide every visit
Dignity first
Every client is treated with the utmost respect, regardless of their condition or circumstances.
Unhurried care
We never rush. Every session is given the time and attention it deserves.
Family partnership
We work closely with families and carers, keeping everyone informed and involved.
Genuine warmth
Physiotherapy should feel positive. We bring encouragement and optimism to every visit.
